Toor Dal Fry

You will need


3/4 cups of Toor Dal
2 medium tomatoes
Coriander
2 tsps of coriander powder
Some red chillies
2 to 3 cloves of garlic
A small piece of ginger
100 gms of butter
3 small onions
Cumin seeds or cumin powder
Garam Masala

Let's get cooking!

Boil the Toor Dal in the cooker and pressurize for 2 whistles.

Grind all the spices together.

Melt the butter in a pan and fry the sliced onion with cardamom, cinnamon and cloves.

Add the ground masala and fry for 15-20 minutes.

Now add the boiled dal and then some water to make the gravy.
