Toor Dal Fry


You will need
3/4 cups of Toor Dal |
2 medium tomatoes |
Coriander |
2 tsps of coriander powder |
Some red chillies |
2 to 3 cloves of garlic |
A small piece of ginger |
100 gms of butter |
3 small onions |
Cumin seeds or cumin powder |
Garam Masala |
Let's get cooking!

Boil the Toor Dal in the cooker and pressurize for 2 whistles. |

Grind all the spices together. |

Melt the butter in a pan and fry the sliced onion with cardamom, cinnamon and cloves. |

Add the ground masala and fry for 15-20 minutes. |

Now add the boiled dal and then some water to make the gravy. |
